When I was a kid I was a little hellion for sure. went about stealing anything that was not nailed down and if it was I'd go home and get a hammer. Skipped school and cussed out cops every time they came to get me for whatever. Until one day my little brother, Huey, was coming home from school and got run over by a car and killed. was really upset about that. did not really want to stay home anymore because of the way things were. had already been to one foster home and figured I'd better just go back and take my chances on living somewhere else. as it turned out I ended up at Leroys Boys' Home in La Vern, California. a Christian home where we went to church 3 times a week whether we wanted to or not, so I sat in church for about a year and a half and the sermon just went in one ear and out the other. Until one day it just clicked and I realized I was guilty!!! and all along the Holy Sprite telling me this and prompting me to go forward and beg Jesus' forgiveness. This totally changed my life and brought such a love for God and others that I had never known before. Then I knew what the title meant Prince of Peace and what Jesus meant when he said. I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
Thank you for taking the time to read this testimony and I hope that God will touch your life also. It's so simple most people don't seem to see it. Jesus has already paid for all our sins on the cross!! and all we have to do is accept the forgiveness that is already there. From the heart wherever you are, ask Jesus for forgiveness. don't hide anything -- tell him all. And if you ask from your heart and the very depths of your soul, God, the Father, will honor it and forgive you everything and bring you the peace, love and joy that only His forgiveness can bring.
